Effective date: June 7, 2026

This privacy policy describes how Serge Braverman (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Vox platform and associated services reachable at sergebraverman.com and its subdomains.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide authentication and core service functionality:

  • Phone number. Collected when you initiate registration or login. Used solely to deliver a one-time verification code via SMS.
  • Session token. A randomly generated token issued after successful verification. Stored in your browser and used to authenticate subsequent requests. Expires after 30 days.
  • Display name. An optional name you provide when setting up your account. Stored in our database and used to personalize responses.

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or precise location data.

How We Use SMS

SMS messages sent by this service are used exclusively for authentication (two-factor verification). Specifically:

  • You initiate the process by submitting your phone number on the login screen.
  • We send a single 6-digit one-time code to that number via SMS.
  • No marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages are ever sent.
  • Message frequency is one SMS per login attempt. You will not receive messages unless you actively request one.
  • Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

To stop receiving SMS messages, simply do not request a verification code. You can also contact us at [email protected] to have your phone number removed from our system entirely.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only third-party disclosure is:

  • SignalWire. Our SMS delivery provider. Your phone number is transmitted to SignalWire solely to deliver the verification code. SignalWire’s privacy policy governs their handling of that data.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users, but we have no current practice of doing so.

Data Retention

Phone numbers and session tokens are retained as long as your account is active. Expired session tokens are purged periodically. If you request account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

Security

Session tokens are randomly generated and stored only in your browser. Verification codes expire within 10 minutes and are invalidated after use. We enforce rate limits on verification attempts to prevent abuse.

Children’s Privacy

This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
