SRE  ·  Platform Engineering  ·  Voice AI

I'm a reliability engineer with a background in voice infrastructure and production systems. Eight years at Oracle (Acme Packet) working on session border controller firmware and SIP/RTP media handling. Three-plus years at Salesforce on the Voice platform SRE team — on-call, incident response, SLOs, tooling.

My focus is on systems that stay up under load: call routing, real-time media, distributed services. I write Go and Python, instrument with OpenTelemetry, and build the kind of observability that makes incidents boring.

I'm interested in SRE, Platform Engineer, and Observability Engineer roles at startups and mid-size companies in San Francisco or remote.

Go SRE VoIP / SIP Python Claude API

Vox is a personal AI voice platform I built as a portfolio project. The pitch: you call a number, Claude picks up, knows who you are, and can help with whatever you need — hands-free.

The platform handles real-time voice (SIP-adjacent: Twilio Media Streams, Deepgram STT, Cartesia TTS), multi-modal AI inference via Claude, and a phone-first identity layer. Platform citizens are independently deployed services that share auth and expose a voice summary API.

Authentication uses SMS-delivered one-time codes (via SignalWire). No passwords. The same phone number you call is how you log in to the web UI.
